Harrold – The Texas Transportation Commission formally approved a new speed limit for the Harrold truck stop area on US 287 in Wilbarger County. The vote clears the way to keep the current construction speed limit of 65 mph permanently.

The new speed limit is enforceable immediately and fines will still double when workers are present for rest of construction.
